Greenwood Industrial Battery provides professional
industrial battery and charger sales and service for
commercial material handlers, including manufacturing
facilities, distribution warehouses, food services
distributors, and other commercial ventures. Our firm

Industrial Battery Sales
Greenwood Industrial Battery is an authorized dealer for
Bulldog Battery Corporation. We offer a full line of
industrial batteries for all types of equipment,
including electric forklifts, order selectors, pallet
jacks, and side loaders. Our line of Bulldog Batteries
also includes diesel locomotive and mine locomotive
batteries as well as spark proof, explosion proof, and
special application batteries for industrial uses.
Greenwood is also authorized by Bulldog Battery to
perform all warranty work on all Bulldog and PowerFlow
Batteries. This provides peace of mind for our clients
that they will receive expert and honest warranty
service.
Industrial Battery Service and
Repair
Greenwood Industrial Battery provides superior
diagnostic and repair services. We have highly skilled
personnel with extensive backgrounds in industrial
battery manufacturing, repair, and maintenance. We also
have the most modern diagnostic equipment in our state
of the art repair facility. This allows us to provide
timely, expert service on your industrial batteries.
Many times, we can bring batteries back to life that
other companies simply don’t have the expertise to do.
Our lead service personnel average more than 20 years of
experience working for Bulldog Battery on the
manufacturing level. We understand how batteries are
made and how they work. Therefore, we can repair
batteries that many companies can’t.
Greenwood looks at the service and repair of every
battery from the owner’s perspective. We do everything
that we can to save and extend the life of your
industrial battery, rather than scrap it and try to sell
you a new one. This saves our customers thousands of
dollars in needless battery replacement expense.
Industrial Battery Charger
Sales and Service
Greenwood Industrial Battery is also pleased to offer
Bulldog Battery Corporation’s Kodiak industrial battery
chargers. We carry a full line of dependable and
efficient 100% Kodiak chargers for all battery types
that we sell. Our line of Kodiak chargers are designed
with Ferro Resonant Technology, which affords maximum
protection of the battery by utilizing a taper charge
curve that is built into the transformer design and is
not susceptible to control board or electronic component
failures. Greenwood is also authorized by Bulldog
Battery to perform all warranty work on Kodiak chargers,
providing convenient service and peace of mind for our
customers.
Greenwood Industrial Battery offers industrial battery
charger service repairs for our customers. We service
all brands of chargers. Our highly skilled personnel can
many times repair otherwise inoperable industrial
battery chargers. Often, we can repair these chargers on
site, saving costly down time.
Preventive Maintenance Services
Greenwood also provides economical preventive
maintenance programs for industrial batteries and
chargers. Our professionals will tailor a preventive
maintenance program for your level of needs based on an
assessment of your operation. Our program will meet your
specific needs, whether they are seasonal or continuous.
A customized preventive maintenance program may include
proper watering of batteries, checking cables and
connectors (and replacing on the spot if needed),
checking voltage and line contacts of chargers (and
repairing on the spot in many cases), and cleaning
and/or washing of batteries. An effective preventive
maintenance program will keep your operating running
smoothly and efficiently.
The most common problem with the maintenance of
batteries is either over watering or under watering.
Over watering causes seepage of acid that leads to
excess build up on the tray, which conducts excessive
voltage to the battery tray leading to loss of run time.
Under watering results in damage to the plates of the
cells. Once the water is low, it can only run for about
2 ½ weeks before permanently damaging the battery. We
can teach your personnel how to properly water your
batteries. |
